About Alex:
I have had a passion for dance since the early years of middle school from watching videos of Mr. Wiggle’s accomplishments. I’ve been dancing for about 8 years now. I’ve been able to teach myself the basics without taking classes until attending Contra Costa College. My passion has grown to a point where i want to teach and share my passion with the community.

Later she began expanding her dance training at Westlake School of Performing Arts where she trained in jazz and ballet. Eventually she found new styles such as West African, lyrical, modern, and hip hop and discovered a newfound love for hip hop choreography. She then joined Aftermath in 2010 where she trained under Thomas Vallero, Karl Neri, Steve Sese, and JC Caoile as well as directing Aftermath Juniors from 2011-2012. Now she discovered a new love for waacking and freestyling as she trained under Waackfest’s 2011 champion Reginald La’Vince and Mix’d Ingrdnt’s Michele King. About Angie:
Angie has been dancing since she was a young girl dancing ballroom with her mother. About Steve:

Featuring Choreographers from all around California, from the Bay to L.A. we host Friday classes for anyone and everyone who has the same Love for the Art of Dance. **Registration opens at 7:00pm Class starts at 7:30pm - 9:00pm** ——————————————————————————About Natalie: Natalie Kirkland is a professional dancer based out of the San Francisco Bay Area. Starting at a young age at a local dance studio, Billie Gadberry’s Dance Arts Academy in South San Jose, Natalie trained extensively in various styles of dance including ballet, jazz, hip hop, lyrical, contemporary, tap, hawaiian, salsa, and rhythmic gymnastics. In 2001, Natalie left her studio life behind to become a member of Chris Jacobsen’s The Dance Company of San Francisco. This is where she had the opportunity to work with choreographers such as Sonya Tayeh, Dee Caspary, Tina D’Amato, and Mark Meismer. Unfortunately, in 2003, due to the lingering economic downfall of September 11, 2001, financial hardships resulted in Natalie having to quit dancing completely. A couple of years later, when Natalie reached high school, she tried out for her high school song team, where she became Junior Varsity captain and had her first experience teaching. It wasn’t until 2009, when friend Summer Imamura invited her to The Pulse On Tour dance convention, that she realized she missed dancing and had to have dance a part of their life again. Immediately signing up for classes, Natalie started re-training in contemporary and hip hop. Not long after, Natalie joined A-Youngin, a youth hip hop team, where she trained under MJ Serafica and Randy Van Le. When Natalie turned 17, she became a member of Academy of Villains, an adult hip hop team directed by Christopher “Pharside” Jennings and Krystal Meraz. She also joined her first adult contemporary company RUGGED which was directed by Tawnya Kuzia. Today, Natalie is a current member of Greg Chapkis’ Chapkis Dance - VIP of Suisun City, CollectiveUth, RUGGED Dance Company, Ronnie Reddick’s La Femme Panache, Randy Van Le’s Hungry Bumz, and Bootz Dance Company. She also co-hosts a hip hop workshop with rotating instructors every Thursday night at NorCal DanceArts in San Jose, California where she picks the teachers and makes the flyers. She teaches at local dance studios, community centers, high schools, dance companies and master classes throughout the bay area, all while continuing to train in the bay area and Los Angeles. Natalie Kirkland is a professional dancer based out of the San Francisco Bay Area. Starting at a young age at a local dance studio, Billie Gadberry’s Dance Arts Academy in South San Jose, Natalie trained extensively in various styles of dance including ballet, jazz, hip hop, lyrical, contemporary, tap, hawaiian, salsa, and rhythmic gymnastics.
In 2001, Natalie left her studio life behind to become a member of Chris Jacobsen’s The Dance Company of San Francisco. This is where she had the opportunity to work with choreographers such as Sonya Tayeh, Dee Caspary, Tina D’Amato, and Mark Meismer. Unfortunately, in 2003, due to the lingering economic downfall of September 11, 2001, financial hardships resulted in Natalie having to quit dancing completely.
A couple of years later, when Natalie reached high school, she tried out for her high school song team, where she became Junior Varsity captain and had her first experience teaching. It wasn’t until 2009, when friend Summer Imamura invited her to The Pulse On Tour dance convention, that she realized she missed dancing and had to have dance a part of their life again. Immediately signing up for classes, Natalie started re-training in contemporary and hip hop. Not long after, Natalie joined A-Youngin, a youth hip hop team, where she trained under MJ Serafica and Randy Van Le. When Natalie turned 17, she became a member of Academy of Villains, an adult hip hop team directed by Christopher “Pharside” Jennings and Krystal Meraz. She also joined her first adult contemporary company RUGGED which was directed by Tawnya Kuzia.
Today, Natalie is a current member of Greg Chapkis’ Chapkis Dance - VIP of Suisun City, CollectiveUth, RUGGED Dance Company, Ronnie Reddick’s La Femme Panache, Randy Van Le’s Hungry Bumz, and Bootz Dance Company. She also co-hosts a hip hop workshop with rotating instructors every Thursday night at NorCal DanceArts in San Jose, California where she picks the teachers and makes the flyers. She teaches at local dance studios, community centers, high schools, dance companies and master classes throughout the bay area, all while continuing to train in the bay area and Los Angeles.
While pursuing her dance career, Natalie attends college full-time.
